Ask and You Shall Receive

How to make money fast is the right question that you should ask.

Scripture, as well as sound logic tell us that we need to ask in order to receive.

Therefore, you should avoid asking yourself self-sabotaging questions like, “”why do I always fail?” Your brain is a magnificent instrument and it will come up with an answer.

Your brain will then tell something along the lines of, “because you’re nothing but a loser. You might as well give up now!”

As you can see, this is neither helpful, nor constructive.

As a matter of fact, it is downright destructive.

If you ask destructive questions, you will receive destructive answers.

That is why you need to come up with the right questions.

And by asking, “how to make money fast?” you’re right on the money. You’re on the right track.

Focus on how to succeed, not on reasons why you supposedly cannot succeed.

So let’s get right to it. But first, let’s find out why you should, in fact, strive to be rich now, and not wait until you’re 65 years old.

Getting Rich When You’re Old isn’t Optimal

Sure, grandpa loves his millions stashed away in the bank. But being young and wealthy is a fantastic combination.

It’s much better to be young and wealthy, than to be get rich when you’re old.

That is because when you’re old, you might not be able to make most of your money.

When you’re 78 years old and rich, are you going to do all those crazy things with your buddies like you would if you were 30? Probably not.

Don’t get me wrong, though. Being rich when you’re old is, of course, much better than being old and broke.

And I know, you can’t generalize. There are lots of folks these days who are incredibly agile and energetic at a very high age.

However, you should generally strive to get rich while you’re still young.

Strive to Be Rich While You’re Still Young (<40)

There are two major reasons for this:

     1. You’ll be able to enjoy it more

Let’s face it. Being young and rich is where the fun is.

Being young and broke isn’t great, we all know that.

Technically you have all the possibilities in the world.

You could do whatever you like. However, without money, you’ll be severely restricted in your choices.

You can’t just fly to Hawaii to relax at the beach if you have no money.

So in order to get the most enjoyment out of your money, you should strive to get wealthy while you’re still (relatively) young.

     2. You can let your money work for you

That’s the second awesome benefit. Once you’re rich, you can just let your money work for you.

Careful investments will lead to you being able to live off your money’s earnings.

This means you let your money work for you and make your living off of that.

As a result, once your finances are taken care of, you can choose to do whatever you like.

You can follow your passion without having to worry about whether you’ll succeed, because you don’t have to.

Let’s say you have 1.000.000 $. You invest it in stocks and you get an average annual return of 7% (which is the average annual return if you look at long-term data).

Now you make 70.000 $ per year without having to do anything. And that’s not even including dividends.

If you have 5.000.000 $, you’ll make 350.000$ per year and you could just be lying on the beach all day doing literally nothing.

If you don’t spend all the extra money, you’ll be getting richer and richer without having to do much for it.

That’s why you should aim to make money fast while you’re still (relatively) young, so that you can let your money work for you and let it multiply itself.

How to Make Money Fast: 3 Rules You Must Play By

In order to make money fast, you need to know these 3 rules and live by them.

There is no other reliable way to make money fast.

Everybody that tries to tell you otherwise is being dishonest or ignorant and most likely is only after your money.

No matter which endeavor you undertake, you absolutely need to follow these rules if you want to get rich fast.

     1. If you want to make millions, you must serve millions

It’s that simple. Note how I didn’t say easy, I said simple.

The vast majority of wealthy people has had an influence on a very large number of people.

Michael Jackson has served millions by entertaining people and bringing them enjoyment through music. He has sold his albums 750 million times.

Bill Gates has served more than 1 billion people. There are more than 1 billion windows PCs worldwide.

Needless to say, they deserved their wealth because they made this world a better place.

People aren’t forced to buy their products.

They choose to do so. And they do so gladly, because the product (a music CD, a PC, etc.) make their lives better.

It serves a need.

So, if you sell a million of anything, you’ll be rich.

That means: Will you become rich buying a restaurant franchise? No! How many of your products (meals) can you sell in one day? 100? Can you ever sell 1 million? No! Now if you bought a restaurant franchise and you’re wondering how to make money fast? The answer is: You don’t.

Therefore, always get into a line of work where you’re not limited in the amount of products you sell.

If you play the guitar and make a DVD that helps people learn to play the guitar, you could sell 100 copies of that DVD or 100.000 copies. You can always find someone to make the copies for you at very little cost. If you make a profit of 10$ a piece, you’d already be a millionaire.

So, don’t get into a business where your upper limit is capped.

Scale is your best friend.

Reach millions to make millions.

Instead of asking how to make money fast, ask how to help millions of people fast.

     2. You need to work for yourself, not for somebody else

If you work for somebody else, you’re essentially making them rich.

In turn, they give you a little bit back of the fortune that you amassed (your pay check at the end of the month).

That’s a bad deal.

The rule of thumb for the vast majority of people: If you work for somebody else, you will never make money fast.

That’s because, if you make them lots of money fast, they won’t necessarily give you any of it back.

For that reason, you need to start a side business or a venture, and start working for yourself.

Don’t make somebody else rich.

Work hard for yourself.

You’ll thank yourself for it someday in the future.

So start some form of business:

  • Come up with a great idea or an invention. Find somebody else to manufacture it for you. You can find cheap manufacturers at for example or just google it. Don’t reinvent the wheel, just find something and make it better.
  • Make a product that solves people’s problems. Find the area in your life you are really knowledgeable and help other people apply your knowledge to their problem. Help them solve their problem and have them pay you for it. This could be in the form of a DVD, an online course, a book, an ebook, an online seminar, etc.

Working hard is great.

But only if you work to make yourself rich and not somebody else.

     3. Focus on fulfilling a need, not on following your passion

The worst advice out there is probably this: “Just do what you love”

It has become mainstream advice. However, it is absolutely terrible advice.

I love running. It clears my head and I have been an avid runner since I was 13. Am I going to get rich as a professional runner, though? Highly unlikely.

If the professional runner asks him- or herself how to make money fast, the answer is: You don’t!

And the reasons for this is: There is no need for it.

Sure, watching a race might be entertaining to watch for some people but unless you’re on the level of Usain Bolt, you won’t make money fast doing it.

This is the one exception to the rule: If you are completely outstanding and the very best at what you do, go right ahead and do what you love.

If you’re the fastest man in the world, by all means, follow your passion.

For the rest of us, though, we need to take a look at a society’s needs and strive to fulfill those to get rich fast.

People like Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Dorsey, or Kevin Systrom, who founded Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram (respectively) saw a need in our society and fulfilled that need.

They saw that people are always looking for new ways to communicate with each other, as this is one of our basic primal needs. consequently, they came up with great ways to fulfill those needs and desires.

So don’t ask yourself what you like to do.

Instead, ask yourself what other people like or need.

And then go and fulfill those needs. That’s how to make money fast.

That is the secret.

It’s not doing what you love (although it can be).

It’s doing what others love and what fulfills a need.
